Friday, April 17, 2026, is the day again: the annual edition of the KollumerKatloop, this year for the 23rd time! The Katloop starts at 7:30 PM in the Voorstraat of Kollum; that’s also where the finish line is. As in previous years, there are 2 distances to run: 6.4 km and 13.8 km. For the young runners, there is a student race that starts at 6:00 PM, also in the Voorstraat, and participation in this student race is free.
Highlights
- The student run is the official running championship for schools and students from Kollum and the surrounding area.
- The warm-up for the student run starts at 5:45 PM, conducted by an experienced instructor from Balanza Movement Center in Kollum.
- The proceeds from the Katloop, after deducting expenses, go to "Make a Wish".
